MyPhoneResume.com Makes It Easy to Create Great Looking Resumes for the Apple iPhone

Boulder, CO (PRWEB) May 14, 2008 -- Metafy LLC today released the first version of MyPhoneResume.com, a simple new website that makes it easy for anyone to create a resume that looks great on Apple's iPhone.

"The initial release of MyPhoneResume.com is already helping users create resumes for the iPhone in about two minutes," explains Joe Pezzillo, Founder of Metafy and developer of the service.

To create a resume, users point their web browser at MyPhoneResume.com, click "Create a Resume" and fill out one simple page of information including their contact info, a URL to their photo, a brief bio, and links to three other websites that the user wants to include, such as a public profile. After confirming their e-mail address, the resume is ready to be shared. Users can forward the resume by e-mail directly from the site, or use their unique user name to enable it to be found. A basic privacy protection is provided by requiring the creator to explicitly share their resume with others, but users should only upload information they want to share with prospective employers.

"If a user uploads a link to their Facebook page and then a prospective employer sees pictures there, we can't do anything to stop it," cautions Pezzillo.

He adds, "The next version of MyPhoneResume will expand to include more media and the ability to detail each job experience directly on the phone, but we've already found this to be helpful. Just writing the app has created a steady stream of inquiries about iPhone development work."

A sample resume is included on the site and also available on the iPhone.

To get started, visit the website today from an iPhone or web browser at: http://myphoneresume.com
